C.J. Krantz Organics produces and delivers organic leaf compost across Buffalo and Western New York from our own composting facility in East Amherst. Because we make it ourselves, we can confirm it is 100% plant-based, all-natural and safe for family and pets. Available for pickup at $49 per cubic yard or delivery at $59 per cubic yard.
Organic Leaf Compost can be used in flower beds to rejuvenate poor soil quality or as a top dressing on your lawn. With proper watering, most Buffalo area lawns are noticeably greener and thicker within 2 to 3 weeks of application.
Not all compost sold in the Buffalo area comes from the same place. There have been reports of suppliers mixing animal or human waste into their compost because it is cheaper and more readily available. C.J. Krantz produces its own compost using plant-based material only. Before buying compost from any other company, always ask where it comes from and how it was made.
